**UPDATE** - "Golden Alert" cancelled in Laurel County


Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: a Golden Alert has been issued for a missing 71-year-old male who has mental and physical disabilities and was last seen Monday night (June 13th, 2016) at approximately 9:30 P.M. at a home on Sally's Branch Road , 3 miles east of London when he left driving a gray GMC pickup.

Update: This individual was located late last night by Berea P.D. safe and sound. Golden Alert cancelled.

He may be going to McCreary County to Marshes Siding on Lick Creek Road-where he resides. Deputy Josh Scott is investigating and has identified the missing individual as:

Douglas Macarthur Miller,age 71, white male, 6'2",190 pounds, brown eyes, gray hair below shoulder, and wearing blue jeans, green shirt, and boots.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of this individual is asked to contact the Laurel County Sheriff's office at 606-864-6600 or 606-878-7000.
