Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Rick Cloyd arrested Angelia Bolton age 35 of Hwy 830, Gray on Wednesday night June 15, 2016 at approximately 7:05 PM.
The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Walmart's loss prevention team detained this subject.
When Deputy Cloyd arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation he learned that this subject had allegedly failed to pay for a pair of shoes that she wore out of the store valued at $9.88. Angelia Bolton was charged with theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting.
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on charges of resisting arrest; public intoxication – controlled substances; theft by unlawful taking; possession of marijuana; and contempt of court.
This subject was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
