Disturbance complaint leads to arrest by LSO


Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Sgt. Larry Parrott along with Deputy Brandon Broughton arrested Thomas Saylor age 41 of Waterworks Rd., London on Thursday night June 16, 2016 at approximately 9:14 P.M.

The arrest occurred off Waterworks Road, approximately 1 mile west of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint there – allegedly a subject was reported to be intoxicated and making threats to people there.

When deputies arrived at that location, the suspect observed deputies and fled to a field at the rear of a residence and following a brief struggle with deputies, the suspect was taken into custody. This subject continued to curse loudly and continued to create a disturbance to other residents in the area.

While en route to the detention center this subject stated he would have deputies killed by his family members.

Thomas Saylor was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place- third offense in 12 months; disorderly conduct – second degree; fleeing or evading police – second degree – on foot; resisting arrest; and terroristic threatening – third-degree.

This subject was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
