Drug Investigation and Arrest in Laurel County


London, KY (June 22, 2016) - On Monday, June 20, 2016 at approximately 10:30 pm Troopers from the Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London, conducted an investigation into suspected drug activity at a residence on West Pine Hill Road, London, KY.

During the investigation Trooper Ben Graves discovered Marijuana, prescription medications, drug paraphernalia and cash. There was an adult female and two small children at the residence during the investigation. No charges are being taken against the female.

Trooper Graves arrested Shawn Roark on the charges of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance - 1st Degree - 1st Offense, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance – 2nd Degree - 1st Offense, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance – 3rd Degree - 1st Offense, Trafficking in Marijuana (less than 8 oz.) 1st Offense, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor and Drug Paraphernalia – Deliver/Manufacture.

Trooper Graves is continuing the investigation and was assisted by KSP Sergeant Tony Dingess.
