Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Shawn Jackson arrested Candy Browning age 35 of Holly Grove Rd., Corbin early Friday morning July 1, 2016 at approximately 3:45 AM.
The arrest occurred off Holly Grove Road, approximately 12 miles south of London after Deputy Jackson was dispatched to a complaint that had been received by Laurel 911 Dispatch more than once reporting that this subject's vehicle was being damaged by her husband and another woman.
When Deputy Jackson arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation he learned that the vehicle in question was not damaged at all. The female subject there that had called 911 changed her story and through investigation it was determined that the call was made up and was totally false.
Candy Browning was charged with falsely reporting an incident; and harassing communications and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
