Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Daniel Grigsby arrested Joshua Matthews age 31 of Pine Top Rd., London on Saturday evening July 2, 2016 at approximately 4:41 PM.
The arrest occurred on Little Arthur Ridge Road, approximately 6 miles north of London after Deputy Grigsby was dispatched to a complaint of an intoxicated subject causing a disturbance – the complaint also advised Deputy Grigsby that this subject was destroying property and armed with a knife and threatened to kill people.
Deputy Grigsby located this subject walking down the road and determined by investigation that he was under the influence.
This subject was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
