Knox County, KY - On July 4th at approximately 11:30 pm Knox County Deputy Andrew Lawson received a complaint of a fight in progress at a residence on Hutton Road off KY 6 just north of Barbourville.
When Deputy Lawson arrived, he observed Paul Disney standing in Hutton Road in front of the residence yelling.
After conducting an investigation and talking with witnesses, Deputy Lawson learned that Paul Disney had struck a man with a handgun and fired several shots toward him and four other victims.
Deputy Lawson arrested Paul William Disney age 51 of Barbourville, KY charging him with five counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Assault 4th Degree and Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree.Deputy Lawson also recovered a handgun at the scene.
Paul Disney was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
