Shelbyville, Ky. - (July 14, 2016) –On Thursday July 7, Kentucky State Police Post 12 received a complaint of Sexual Misconduct from The Kentucky Correctional Institute for Women.
The complaint alleged misconduct involving a Corrections Officer and an Inmate.
After an investigation, a warrant was obtained and Demur I. Jones-30, of Lexington. He was arrested on Tuesday July 12 and charged with Sexual Abuse 1st, and Official Misconduct 2nd. Mr. Jones is lodged at Shelby County Jail.
