Millard, Ky. - (July 18, 2016) Kentucky State Police Post 09 Detectives are investigating the death of Shannon Robinson, 39 of Shelbiana.
On July 18, 2016, KSP Post 09 received a call advising that an employee with CSX had located the body of a deceased male. The body was located on the Nelse Bottom railroad tracks in the Millard community of Pike County. The preliminary investigation at the scene indicated that Robinson suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a train.
Pike County Coroner, Russell Roberts pronounced Robinson deceased at the scene. Robinson's body was sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. This incident remains under investigation by Post 09 Detective, Gary Sykes.
