KSP Investigates Theft from a Business in Jessamine County


NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (July 20, 2016) Two Jessamine County residents have been charged following an investigation by the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post.

On July 7, 2016, Joyce Minton, 65 years old of Nicholasville, and Aaron B. Warren, 43 years old of Nicholasville were arrested and charged following an initial investigation by KSP. The ongoing investigation alleges that Joyce Minton, was employed as the office manager at Clark Machine Tool and Die, and is accused of taking more than $1,000,000 dollars from the company over the last eleven years. She also helped Aaron Warren purchase an engine with company funds for his racecar in the amount of nearly $12,000. The investigation began when the company noticed that multiple checks had been written and cashed by Joyce Minton, however the money was unaccounted for and never returned to the business.

Joyce Minton is charged with two counts of Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition of Property, and Aaron Warren is charged with one count of Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition of Property. Both individuals were arrested by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office and lodged in the Jessamine County Detention Center.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Detective Jeff Stith.
