Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Daniel Grigsby along with Deputy Brad Mink arrested Kameron Hodges age 20 of Black Stone Rd., Corbin on Thursday evening July 21, 2016 at approximately 6:33 PM.
The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Walmart's loss prevention team detained this subject.
When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation they learned that this subject had allegedly been observed concealing Walmart merchandise on her person and attempting to leave the store without paying for the merchandise. Total value of the theft was $71.03.
Kameron Hodges was charged with theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
