Fugitive arrested after LSO deputies were dispatched to a dispute between neighbors

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Travis Napier along with Deputy Rick Cloyd arrested two individuals on Saturday night August 27, 2016 at approximately 8:12 PM.

The arrests occurred off Robert E. Cox Road, approximately 9 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a dispute between neighbors where allegedly other neighbors could hear yelling and screaming.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they conducted an investigation and determined where the individuals lived that had created the disturbance.

Deputies observed the doorway partially opened, and upon questioning a female resident there were told that no one else was present in the apartment.

Deputies found a male subject hiding under covers in a bedroom and determined that he had three outstanding warrants of arrest.

Arrested was the fugitive found hiding in the bedroom identified as:

Roy Henson age 44 Of Roosevelt St., London charged with a Laurel County indictment warrant of arrest charging trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine. He was also charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense. He was also charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on charges of operating on suspended or revoked operators license and numerous other traffic violations.

Also arrested at the scene was a female subject identified as:

Bonnie Boone age 50 of Robert E. Cox Rd., Apartments, Corbin charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension – second-degree.

The two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
