Stolen vehicle located in Knox County

Woodbine, KY - The Knox County, Ky Sheriff's Department is reporting that on August 26, 2016 Deputy Keith Liford received a report of a stolen vehicle from Laurel County being behind a house trailer on Eaton Fork in Woodbine.

When Deputy Liford arrived at the residence, he observed the stolen 1994 GMC truck parked in the driveway.

Deputy Liford arrested Kenneth Dodd age 24 of Rockhold, KY and Savanah Minton age 27 of Woodbine, KY charging them with Receiving Stolen Property.

Kenneth Dodd was also wanted on five Bench Warrants. Two of the warrants were Knox County Bench Warrants for failure to pay fines on Operating on Suspended or Revoked License (2counts), Speeding and No Insurance (2 counts). Two of the warrants were Whitley County Bench Warrants for failure to pay fines on Criminal Trespass 1st Degree and Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree. One of the warrants was a Laurel County Bench Warrant for failure to appear on Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree, Public Intoxication, Giving Officer False Name or Address, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest.

Savanna Minton was also wanted on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay fines on Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance and Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree.

Kenneth Dodd and Savannah Minton lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
