Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Travis Napier arrested B.J. Pettyjohn age 34 of Cincinnati Ohio on Sunday afternoon August 28, 2016 at approximately 3:34 PM.
The arrest occurred on US 25, approximately 4 miles north of London after Deputy Napier was dispatched to a complaint of a male subject walking in the middle of the road.
While en route to investigate the complaint, Deputy Napier received a second dispatch stating that this subject was dancing in the road and that as drivers attempted to pass by he jumped out in front of their vehicle.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Napier conducted an investigation on this subject and determined that he was under the influence. This subject stated he was trying to get to Fort Worth, Texas.
This individual was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
