BEATTYVILLE, Ky. (September 10, 2016) –The search for an escaped Lee County inmate came to an end just before 11:00 am this morning, following his arrest by troopers assigned to the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post.
William Napier was located and arrested near the rail road tracks off of Coal Branch Road in Lee County, following a tip that was called into the State Police.
In addition to Napier’s original charges, he is lodged in the Three Forks Regional Jail, charged with Escape 1st Degree.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Trooper Tyler Morris.
