London, Ky. (September 20, 2016) On Tuesday September 20th 2016 around 5 A.M.
Officer Mike 
Hamblin and Officer Rob Mitchell with KSP Vehicle Enforcement stopped a
red 2016 Dodge Pickup truck on I-75 near the 33 mile marker in Laurel County
Kentucky after observing the vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lane
nearly hitting a tractor trailer.
After stopping the vehicle and through investigation officers found 79 year old George W. Surber of Richmond Indiana listed in the (National Crime Information Center) - NCIC data base as a Missing Endangered Person.
Information gathered at the scene and through relatives indicated Surber was Alzheimer's patient that was in need of his medication and had gone missing since the previous day September 19th 2016.
No medical attention was required at the scene and family members are headed to Kentucky to be reunited with Surber.
