FRANKFORT, Ky. – The following is a statement from House Republican Leader Jeff Hoover on Representative Brad Montell’s, R-Shelbyville, appointment, effective October 1, 2016.
“I want to thank Rep. Montell for his many years of dedicated service to the 58th House District, and to the entire Commonwealth. He has been an incredible leader on important issues like pensions and school choice in Kentucky. That leadership will serve him impeccably in his new role at the Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.
While our caucus will miss him, the future of Kentucky will benefit from his expertise and knowledge. I wish him the best of luck in his new role, and look forward to working closely with him next year when the House Republican Caucus is in the majority.”
