KSP Officer Involved in Injury Crash

BEREA, Ky. (September 30, 2016) At approximately 7:00 a.m., Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer Aaron Stidham was on patrol, traveling west on KY 21 near the I-75 northbound entry ramp.

Officer Stidham appears to have exited the right side of the roadway striking a guard rail. As a result of striking the guard rail, Officer Stidham’s cruiser overturned and came to a final rest near the wood line.

Officer Stidham was transported by Madison County EMS to the University of Kentucky Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Officer Stidham’s cruiser sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

Assisting on scene was KSP-CVE, Kentucky State Police, Berea Police Department, Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Berea Fire and Rescue, and Madison County EMS.

The collision remains under investigation by Sergeant Justin Pickrell.
