Colleagues and Fellow Veterans,

As with the first Friday of each month, the BLS employment statistics were released on October 7, 2016.  Attached is our monthly ‘cheat sheet’ for your use and information.  We have also included the 3rd quarter 2016 statistic report.

The national unemployment rate for September 2016 increased slightly from 4.9% to 5.0% and the Veteran unemployment numbers for September 2016 remained unchanged at 4.3%.

Thanks to all of you who are working directly or indirectly, to ensure our Veterans have meaningful employment.
