Student Nominations Sought for Eco-Art Contest

Frankfort, Ky. –– In its fifth year, the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection (DEP) is soliciting nominations for the 2013–14 Eco-Art Contest. The contest provides an opportunity for students to gain statewide recognition for their artwork as it relates to Kentucky’s environment. Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office conducted a roundup of drug traffickers in Laurel County early Monday morning (11-25-12 at 8:00 A.M.).
