Frankfort Inside Out - Legislative Update, March 17, 2014

Last week brought a flurry of legislative activity in both the House and Senate. With only 11 scheduled days remaining before the two-week veto recess, the legislative process will only speed up from here. Pike County student wins state Poetry Out Loud competition

FRANKFORT, Ky. — A 15-year-old sophomore student from Pike County is Kentucky's 2014 Poetry Out Loud state champion and will represent the Commonwealth at the national finals in April.

Fourteen students competed in the Kentucky Poetry Out Loud Finals Thursday in Frankfort.
