Secretary Grimes Encourages Kentuckians to Serve as Precinct Election Officers

Secretary of State and Chief Election Officer Alison Lundergan Grimes encourages citizens to take an active role in the May 20 Primary Election by serving as precinct election officers, or poll workers. Approximately 15,000 Kentuckians will be needed to help administer the election.

Col. T.C. Sizemore is 93 years young today. March 8, 2014. The former High Sheriff of Clay County, Kentucky celebrated his birthday at home with family & friends yesterday March 7th.

A native of Clay County, Kentucky, the legendary Col. Sizemore is a veteran of World War II and over the course of his colorful career, has been a school teacher, served as High Sheriff of Clay County, Kentucky and owned & published newspapers in Kentucky and Tennessee.

Police Charge Adair Co. Man With Crimes Related to Child Pornography and Drugs

(Columbia, Ky.) — On March 6, 2014, at approximately 6:16 p.m., the Kentucky State Police arrested a man on charges related to possession and distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor as well as multiple drug offenses.
