Dale Dobbs, 79, departed this life October 29, 2016 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Ky. Dale was born November 7, 1936 to Delbert and Derlie Dobbs who have preceded him in death. He was a member of the Antioch United Baptist Church.
Dale is survived by his wife Clara Dobbs, two sons; Wesley Dobbs and wife Carla and Allen and wife Jamie, five grandsons; Matthew Dobbs, Nathan Dobbs, Noah Dobbs, Chase Dobbs and Chandler Dobbs and two great grandsons; Jaxon and Xzavier.
He is also survived by two sisters; Elsie Dobbs of Monticello, KY and Shirley Sitzler of Glasgow, Ky. and his very special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016 at the Antioch United Baptist Church with W. R. Cobb and Scott Hammons officiating. Burial will follow in the Asher Cemetery at Wollum, Ky. Visitation will be held at 6 PM Tuesday, November 1st at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
