Mr. John L. Henson, 62, of Manchester passed away Wednesday, November 16th, 2016 at the Lake Cumberland Medical Center in Somerset.
John is survived by his daughter Kayla Gilliam of Burning Springs and one grandchild Alex Gilliam.
He is also survived by these brothers and sisters: John S. Henson of Rockford, Illinois, Murl Henson and Ricky Henson of Manchester, Daisy Marcum, Willie Jean Riley and Mossie Henson all of Goose Rock and several nieces and nephews.
John is preceded in death by his parents Willie and Hazel Bowling Henson and two brothers: Earl Henson and Arnold Henson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 PM Saturday, November 19th, 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Marcum Cemetery at Goose Rock.
Visitation will be held at 6 PM Fri10day at the Britton Funeral Home.
