Eugene "Gene" Martin was born December 29, 1932 in Manchester, Kentucky to the late Emery and Cleo Runions Martin and passed away Saturday October 14, 2017 at the age of 84 years.
Eugene was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean (Taber) Martin and his son Douglas Martin.
He was also preceded in death by his beloved twin sister Alene Curry Evans as well as a host of other siblings.
Gene is survived by his son's Gene (Patty) Martin, Mike (Vicky) Martin and Anthony "Wayne" (Debbie) Martin. Grandfather of Stephanie (Bryan) Kohls, Melissa (Jon) Humbert, Christina (Dennis) Meade and Kayla Martin. Great grandfather of Clayton Martin, Kelsey Meade, Jackson, Brody and Trey Humbert and Macie, Brinley and Karson Kohls.
Gene was a resident of Bethel and a retired custodian for Norwood City Schools.
Visitation 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday. Funeral service 11:00 AM Wednesday October 18, 2017 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home 315 W.Plane St. Bethel, Ohio. Burial Laurel Carmel Cemetery, Monroe Township.
