Mona Lipps, age 79, of Goose Rock passed away Monday October 16th at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 2nd, 1938 the daughter of Waymon and Mallie Holland.
She was preceded in death by her husband R.D. Lipps, her parents, and three brothers: Hancle, Kenneth and Amos, and brother-in-law Leroy Blackburn.
She is survived by these children: Lane Lipps and wife Sheila, Janice Beckner and husband Denny, Sheila Mitchell and husband Orville, Margaret Hoskins and husband Gary, Wayne Lipps and wife Karen; four grandchildren: Riley Beckner, Michael Mitchell, Anthony Lipps and Holly Lipps; two great grandchildren: Macy and Erika Lipps.
She is also survived by two sisters: Moltia Blackburn and Faye Martin and husband Ronnie; and by one brother, Waymon Holland, Jr. and wife Norma.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 19th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Tess Lipps officiating. Burial will follow at the Waymon Holland Cemetery on Billy's Branch.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 18th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
