Edna Robinson, 93, of London, KY, passed away Monday, October 23rd, at the Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly in London.
Edna was born in Oneida, KY on June 22, 1924, a daughter of the late Maude (Pennington) and Gilbert Grubb.
Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Denver Robinson, and her parents Gilbert and Maude Grubb.
Edna is survived by five daughters: Kathy Roark and husband Jim of Leesburg, FL, Mona Rose of Scottsville, KY, Maudie Madden and husband Edward of Tyner, Bonnie Smith and husband William of Manchester, and Brenda Reed and husband David of London; and by five sons: General Robinson of Sextons Creek, Wayne Robinson and wife Gladys of London, Wallace Robinson and wife Betty of Manchester, Delmas Robinson and wife Marsha of London, and Orville (Shorty)Robinson and wife Ramona of Manchester. Edna is also survived by her brother, Eugene Grubb and wife May of Brookville, IN.
Also surviving are 27 grandchildren and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by 3 grandchildren and the following brothers: Ed Grubb, Dallas Grubb, Leroy Grubb, Claude Grubb, Ora Grubb, Gilbert Grubb, Jr. and Floyd Grubb.
Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 26th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Mitchell Ball and Ernie Murray officiating. Burial will follow at the Robinson/Grubb Cemetery in Manchester, KY.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 25th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
