Sherrill Davidson, 69, of Manchester, KY, passed away Friday, October 27th, at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
Sherrill was born in Hyden, KY on December 17, 1947, a son of the late Cleo (Smith) and Hugh Davidson.
Sherrill is survived by his wife Mildred Davidson, his three daughters: Charlotte Jean Long of Reading, OH, Donna Sue Davidson of Middletown, OH, and Connie Lynn Davidson of Hamilton, OH; his son: Michael Hugh Davidson of Manchester; and his two step sons: James Richard Owens of Manchester and Michael Wayne Gross of London.
He is also survived by the following grandchildren: James Anthony Wayne Davidson, Christina Nicole Owens, James Lucas Owens, Alicia Michelle Davidson, all of Manchester, and Briana Lynn Gross and Michael Alan Gross, both of London; and a host of great grandchildren.
Sherrill is also survived by two sisters: Lois (Obby) Hacker of Nashville, TN and Ruth Ann Davidson of London, KY; and by three brothers: Willis Davidson of Manchester, Otis (Carolyn) Davidson of Manchester and Maynard (Jessie) Davidson of Jacksborrow, TN.
In addition to his parents, Hugh and Cleo Davidson, Sherrill is also preceded in death by his daughter Christina Lynn Davidson, his brothers Bryce and Jerry Davidson, and his sister Bernice Byrd.
A Memorial Service for the family will be held at a later date.
