Mildred A. Barger, 79, of London, KY, passed away Tuesday, November 7th, at the St. Joseph London Hospital.
Mildred was born in Sand Gap, KY on January 25, 1938, a daughter of the late Sarah Jane (Glenn) and Stanley Harrison.
On July 16, 1955, Mildred married Curtis Barger, who preceded her in death.
Mildred is survived by her children: Terry Barger and wife Linda, Dale Barger and wife Sandra, Katina Singleton and husband Craig, all of London, and Melanie Massey and husband Jeff of Manchester.
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Dewayne Barger, Stephanie Barger, Kayla Barger, Vanessa Senters, Madelyn Singleton, Mallory Singleton and Maleah Singleton; 1 great grandchild: Weston Seth Barger; her sister Nina Fessell of Cincinnati, OH; and her brother Elmer Harrison of Hamilton, OH.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her sister, Estie Bumgardner.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 10th at East Bernstadt Church of God in East Bernstadt, KY, with Eric Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, KY.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 9th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY and 12:00 PM on Friday, November 10th at East Bernstadt Church of God in East Bernstadt, KY.
