Clayton Arnett, 87, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2017. He was born to Roosevelt & Bertha Arnett on October 25, 1930. He graduated from Oneida Baptist Institute in 1949 and was an alumni of Eastern Kentucky University, class of 1956. He joined the US Army in 1949 and served for the next 24 years, before retiring in September, 1973. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served two tours in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Arnett, daughter, Pam Gloneck, son John Arnett, and three grandsons, Charlie Arnett, Shawn Arnett & Jacob Allen. He also had 3 great grandchildren.
His services will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 27 Old U.S. 421, Manchester, Ky. 40962.
Viewing to the public will be Friday, December 8th from 6-9PM and funeral will be Saturday at 11AM.
