Hoye Woods, age 72 of Oneida, passed away Saturday May 5th, 2018 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
He is survived by his loving wife Myrtle of 54 years and these children: Hoye Melinda Butler and husband Ronald of Manchester, Stacy Woods and wife Kathy, Louisville, Rellie Beulah Kelly and husband Hugh, White House Tennessee, and Dr. Joy Beth Curtis and husband Rev. Scotty Curtis of Winchester.
He is also survived by two brothers Stanley Woods, and Roy Woods, both of London, and two sisters Sylvia Woods, Tennessee, and Lottie Burns, North Carolina, and these 5 grandchildren: Hannah Woods, Abigail Kelly, Benjamin Kelly, Ella Curtis, and Jasper Curtis.
He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Doshia Woods and one sister Beulah Woods.
The funeral service for Hoye will be held 2 PM Wednesday May 9th, 2018 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Joey Burns, Brad Stevens, and Rev. Scotty Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in the Hoskins Cemetery at Double Creek. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday May 8th, 2018.
