Hubert Byrd, 74, of Manchester, KY, passed away Tuesday, June 19th.
Hubert was born in Alger, KY on December 13, 1943, a son of the late Julia (Hacker) and Shelby Byrd. He was a member of the IBEW Local #71 Union.
Hubert is survived by his sister, Josephine Baker of Manchester; and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Shelby and Julia Byrd, he was preceded in death death by the following brothers and sisters: Geneva Harris, Frances Mae Neeley, Anna Lee Hensley, Stanley Byrd, Jesse Byrd, Ray Byrd, Mary Jean Scheafer and Ralph G. Byrd.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 24th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Robert Combs and Boyd Arnett officiating. Burial will follow at the Byrd Cemetery on Cool Springs Rd.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Saturday, June 23rd at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
