Marie Whitehead of London, KY went to be with her heavenly father on 07/22/18 at the age of 86, with her children by her side.
Marie was born in Manchester, KY on 06/25/32 to Leonard and Lucy Martin.
She married Chester Whitehead 12/12/50 in Clay Co. KY.
She always loved to laugh and spend time with her family. She especially loved a good game of cards.
She is survived by 5 generations including her children, Deborah Tibbs(Robert), Sandra Smith (James), Dianah Whitehead, Lonnie Whitehead(Kathy), Danny Whitehead(Lynda), Marshall Whitehead(Debbie), Edward Whitehead(Peggy) and Betty Whitehead(Michael) and 19 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren, 15 Great Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother Charles Martin of Manchester, KY, along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, a baby boy, 2 Grandchildren, her parents, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
She is already and will be extremely missed and loved by all who knew her.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 26th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Jimmy Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Martin Rogers Cemetery on Island Creek.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 25th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
