Mrs. Helen Bowling, age 76 departed this life on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the home of her daughter Peggy in Berea, Kentucky. She was born on Sunday, May 10, 1942 in Manchester, Kentucky to Colonel Sandlin and Leah Bray Gumm.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters: Deborah Sandlin of Raleigh, North Carolina, Peggy Van Dierendonck and her husband Gene of Berea, Kentucky, Cathy Fields and her husband Eddie of Manchester, Kentucky and Mildred Ballard and her husband Shane of Raleigh, North Carolina, her son: Dwayne Moore and his wife Patty of Middlebrown, Missouri, her step son and his wife: Denver and Diane Moore of Masieville, Ohio as well as the following grandchildren: Casandra Williams, Faith Moore, Brandon Woods, Dustin Woods, Leigh Ann Carswell, Chelsea Pitts, Shelly Davis, Brandy Grubb, Jonathan Sandlin, Terry Sandlin, Bridgett Fields, Isaiah Nash and Amber Collins and several great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Colonel Sandlin and Leah Gumm, her husband: Conley Moore, and her daughter: Wilma Bowling.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Helen Bowling will be conducted on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Dustin Woods, Deborah Sandlin and Jacob Carswell will be presiding. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in the Fogertown Community.
Visitation will be held on Friday after 11:30 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
