Harris Collett, 90, Laurel Creek Health Care Center, was born on January 16th, 1928, and went home with the Lord on Monday, October 15, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mallie Collett, by two sons, Darrell Collett and Keith Turkey Collett, by a daughter, Sandra McDaniel, and by these brothers and sisters: John, Melvin, Jimmy, Stanley, Neil Collett, Gracie Lunsford, Rose Smith and Jean McQuarter.
Two sisters survive: Myrtle Sizemore and Joyce Hoskins.
His children that survive: Carolyn Collins and husband David of Berea, Harold Collett and wife Betty Jean of Sextons Creek, Ricky Collett and wife Christine of Annville, Bobby Collett and wife Linda Gail of Sextons Creek, Brenda Edwards and husband Bub of Sextons Creek, Lois Owens and husband Kyle of London, Diane Collett of Sextons Creek and Cathy Wells and husband Robert of London.
He was blessed with 22 grand kids, 22 great grand kids and one on the way in April.
He was a Master Mason for 30+ years. He loved fox hunting and singing.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 19th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Robert Combs, Brian Collett, Carmen Brewer and Todd Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at the Martin Cemetery on Island Creek.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 18th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
