Virginia Lee Taylor, 73, of Manchester, KY, passed away Sunday, October 21st, at her home.
Virginia was born on April 5, 1945, a daughter of the late Mallie (Wombles) Hoskins and Burchell Begley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eckel "Monk" Taylor.
Virginia is survived by two daughters: Eva Taylor of Manchester, and Linda Gregory and husband Larry Gregory of Alabama; and by three sons Marvin Taylor of West Liberty, KY, Wayne Taylor and wife Jovy of Manchester, Roger Taylor and wife Susan of London.
Virginia is also survived by a sister, Opal Caudill and husband Arley of Manchester; by the following grandchildren: Julia Saringan, Josh Taylor, Stephanie Taylor, Anthony Gregory, Brandon Gregory and Emily Taylor; and the following great grandchildren: Taylor Gregory, Trinity Gregory, Tera Gregory, Bella Gregory, Karston Gregory, Bradon Taylor, Blake Bilbrey and Noriane Saringan.
In addition to her husband and parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Wombles; her sister, Edna Couch; and a great grandchild, Angelina Gregory.
Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 25th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Steve Davis officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylor Cemetery on Burning Springs.
Visitation will be held 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 25th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
