Esther Baker, 78, of Manchester, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 24th, at home.
Esther was born in Sextons Creek, KY on December 29, 1939, a daughter of the late Sarah (McDaniel) and Charlie Baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Smith.
Esther is survived by the following children: Sophie Brumbalow, Diana Spence and husband Russell Ray, Sarah Fisher, all of Manchester, and Robert McIntosh of Atlanta, GA.
Esther is also survived by her sister, Connie Murray and husband Ernie of Ohio; her brother, Lester Baker and wife Loretta of Manchester; by 6 grandchildren: Sandy Sandford, Kimberly Mullins, Lisa Marie Mullins, Lewis Green Mullins, Nicole Spence and Kenny Street; and 12 great grandchildren: Audrey Mullins, Kayla Mullins, Bentley Mullins, Sara Mullins, Bradley Mullins, Charles Hubbard, Zachary Mullins, Kersia Mullins, Breanna Marie Mullins, Gabriel Street, Lucas Webb and Jaydon Webb.
In addition to her parents and husband, Esther was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Smith; her grandchild, Hayden G. Mullins; and the following brothers and sisters: Homer Baker, Dewey Baker, Eldridge Baker, Bonnie Murphy and Lucy.
Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 27th at the Clark Cemetery in Sextons Creek, KY, with Ernie Murray officiating.
