Margaret Jones, age 71 departed this life on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born on Monday, July 21, 1947 in Manchester to the union of Kenneth and Edith Massey Jones.
She was employed with the Kentucky State Department working in the Child Support Commission for Children with Special Needs, worked as a secretary for various attorneys and a member of the Greenbrier Presbyterian Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter: Tanya Jones Nicholson and her husband Robert, her grandchildren: Colby Nicholson and Ryan Nicholson, her sister: Clara Minton, her niece: Karen Minton, her sister-in-law: Kathy Jones and these nieces and nephews: Kay Jones Burns and her husband Jason, Phillip Jones and his wife Sammi and Richard Jones and his wife Jacklyn.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Kenneth and Edith Jones and her brother: Robert Lee Jones.
A celebration of life for Margaret Jones will be conducted on Wednesday, January 2, 2018 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Allen Roberts and Rev. Scotty Sumner will be presiding. She will be laid to rest in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday evening after 6:30 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
