Jerry Wayne Hacker, age 68 went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 31, 2018 at the Adventist Health Hospital in Manchester, Kentucky. He was born on Saturday, February 4, 1950 to the union of Rev. Leonard and Dora Bowling Hacker. He was a truck driver and a member of the Pentecostal faith.
He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife: Kathy Hibbard Hacker, his son: Jeremy Leonard Hacker and his wife Sabrina, his grandchildren: Thomas Smith, Holly Hacker and Hudson Hacker. Also surviving is his mother: Dora Hacker and these brothers and sisters: Mike Hacker and his wife Faye, Sandra Lawson and her husband Albert, Connie Lester, Deborah Dobson and her husband Jimmy and Rebecca Sumner and her husband: Danny “Boone”.
He is preceded in death by his father: Rev. Leonard Hacker and his daughter: Jennifer Hacker Smith.
A celebration of life for Jerry Wayne Hacker will be conducted on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ronnie Brown, Rev. Dean Lawson and Rev. Tess Lipps will be presiding. Interment will be in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Rominger Funeral Home.
