Mabel Mae Smith, 72, of Manchester, KY, passed away Monday, December 31st, at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
Mabel was born in Pineville, KY on November 22, 1946, a daughter of the late Laura (Smallwood) and William Isaac Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Smith.
Mabel is survived by her daughter, Patricia and husband Roy Eversole, of Barbourville; and by her three sons: Joseph and wife Lucy Smith of Goose Rock, Willie Wayne and wife Linda Michelle Smith of Barbourville, and Ronald Lee Smith of Goose Rock.
Mabel is also survived by three brothers: Lonzo Smith, Aubrey Smith and Lloyd Smith, all of Barbourville; 14 grandchildren: Bill Joe Eversole, Christopher DeWayne Eversole, Anthony Allen Eversole, Toby Sizemore, LaTasha Sizemore, Markita Sizemore, Katlynn Sizemore, Dalton Sizemore, Brooklyn Sizemore, James Smith, Cami Smith, Jeffery Smith, Kierra Leigh Smith and Jamalynn Smith; and 6 great grandchildren: Michael Andrew Eversole, Katlynn Diane Eversole, Christopher Skyler Eversole, Ezra Smith, and Dawson Smith.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mabel was preceded in death by her son, Lonnie Ray Smith; and by two brothers: Paul Smith and Dennis Smith.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 5th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, with Yancy May and Gary May officiating. Burial will follow at the Goose Rock Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Friday, January 4th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester.
