Obituary for Troy Glen Couch


Troy Glen Couch, 62, of Oneida, KY, passed away Monday, February 11th, at the Advent Health Manchester Hospital.

Troy Glen was born in Cincinnati, OH on February 10, 1957, a son of Elizabeth (Baker) and the late Troy Couch.

He is survived by his wife Sarah (Day) Couch; his mother, Elizabeth Baker Couch; and the following children: Heather Parks of Tifton, GA, Lori Ruprich of Ft. Valley, GA, Virginia "Baby Doll" Books and husband Donald of Pleasant Plain, OH, Nevaeh Ruprich Couch of Oneida, KY, Michael Couch of Cincinnati, OH, Scott Couch and wife Wendy of Jacksonville, FL, Jason Ruprich and wife Ornela of Plymoth, MI, TC Couch and wife Ellie of Pleasant Plain, OH, Joseph Ruprich and wife Beth of McKenzie, TN, Tyler Ruprich of Oneida, KY, and Joe Rossman of Pleasant Plain, OH; also by two nieces, Victoria Day and Evelyn Day, that he raised as his own children.

Troy Glen is also survived by two sisters and a brother: Debra Couch of Newport, KY, Sheila Gay and husband Palis Bowling of Oneida, KY, and Phillip Couch and wife Sonja of Oneida, KY; his sister-in-law, Sharon Day and husband Tim Cato of Dacula, GA; by 22 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nepews.

Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 16th at the Oneida Community Church in Oneida, KY, with Todd Hicks and Phyllis Baker Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Couch Cemetery on Burning Springs.

Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 14th at the Brutus Baptist Church in Oneida, KY, at 6:00 PM on Friday, February 15th at the Oneida Community Church in Oneida, KY, and on Saturday, February 16th until the time of the service at the Oneida Community Church.

Britton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
