Barbara Spurlock Moore, 84, of Manchester, KY, passed away Sunday, February 10th, at the St. Joseph Hospital of London.
Barbara was born in Manchester, KY on March 27, 1934, a daughter of the late Asher and Lottie (Gibson) Griffin.
Barbara is survived by four daughters: Alice Ledington and husband Arnold of London, KY, Joan Gray and husband Russell of Manchester, KY, Kathy Spurlock and husband Mike of Manchester, KY and Debbie Edwards and husband Tony of Manchester, KY.
Barbara is also survived by one brother, Orville Griffin and wife Virginia of Louisville, KY, by her 8 grandchildren: Jeff Farmer, Tracy Craft, Angela Rice, Jonathan Gay, Michelle White, Melinda Nicholson, Robbie Young and Nickie Young, 25 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and 6 step grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Spurlock and Dennis (Bud) Moore, and the following brothers and sisters: Theo Griffin, Jimmy Giffin, Sophia Noyes, Sudie Stinston, Betty Jo Hacker, Lee Roy Griffin, Lillie Griffin and Gilbert Griffin.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 14th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Jeff Farmer and Ronnie Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Wednesday, February 13th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
