Obituary for Fredia Marie Hacker


Fredia Marie Hacker, 92, of Manchester, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 12th, at her home.

Fredia was born in Butler, OH on May 23, 1926, a daughter of the late Dallas (Jones) and John Ruth, Jr. She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.

Fredia was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Hacker.

Fredia is survived by six daughters: Barbara Davenport of Richmond, Wanda Burns of Manchester, Faye Blair and husband George of Manchester, Marilyn Roberts and husband Scotty of Wilmore, KY, Darlene Curry and husband Robert of Manchester, and Carolyn Hobbs and husband Paul of London; by three sons: Ralph Hacker and wife Judy of London, Johnny Hacker and wife Delsie of Manchester, and Donnie Hacker and wife Tammie Hacker of Manchester; and by 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Fredia was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen Gray, and her son-in-law, Robert Davenport.

Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 16th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Wayne House officiating. Burial will follow at the Swafford Branch Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Friday, March 15th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
