Obituary for Teddy Glen Ratliff

Mr. Teddy Glen Ratliff age 63 of Manchester was born in Manchester, KY on December 19, 1955 to the late Clarence and Tressie Baker Ratliff departed this life on May 30, 2019 at AdventHealth of Manchester. He was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed farming, playing country music on the guitar, collecting knives, tractors, loved to help people and eat good food, and spend time with family.Ted Ratliff

In addition to his parents: Clarence and Tressie Ratliff; a brother: Charles Ratliff; and a sister: Bobbie Lee Jackson preceded him in death.

He is survived by his loving wife: Linda Ratliff of Manchester; his daughter: Barbara Philpot and husband Brandon of Manchester; 3 brothers: Bray Ratliff and Clarence David Ratliff both of Manchester, and Homer Ratliff and wife Janet of Valdosta, GA; 6 sisters: Virgie Ratliff, and Edith Woods and husband David all of Manchester; Billie Simpson of Cincinnati, OH, Ruby Wilson of Williamsburg, OH, and Thelma Jones and Reva Caldwell both of London; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services for Mr. Teddy Ratliff will be conducted in the Mud Lick Church of the Brethren on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Shirley Joe Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Delph Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Friends may call at the Mud Lick Church of the Brethren from Monday after 5 P.M. to the funeral hour at 1:00 on Tuesday.
