Roy Wayne Spurlock, 64, of Manchester, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 9th, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Roy was born in Georgetown, KY on October 18, 1954, a son of the late Christian (Parrish) and Jesse Spurlock. Roy was an avid supporter of all Clay County, Oneida and University of Kentucky sports.
Roy is survived by three sisters: Marilee Demond of Lebanon, TN, Jessie Carol Owens of Manchester and Joyce Long of Manchester; and by one brother, Donald Spurlock of Manchester.
In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his son, Derick Spurlock, and his brother, Joe Spurlock.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 13th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Greg Dwenger and Joey Burns officiating. Burial will follow at the Hounchell Bend Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 13th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
