Phyllis Allen, age 74, of Manchester, passed away Wednesday July 17th, 2019 at the Lee County Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Phyllis is survived by the following children: Suzette Asher, Tina Muncy and husband Todd, Mitchell Allen and wife Tyra, and Landon Allen all of Manchester.
She is also survived by one brother Cecil Ray Martin, Lancaster, KY, two sisters: Caroline Smith and Bobbie Monopole both of Manchester as well as these grandchildren: Brittany Stovall, Aaron Asher, Lani Huff, Jaimie Muncy, Kaley Allen, and Tyler Allen.
She is further survived by the following great grandchildren: Chloe Asher, Easton Stovall, Charli-Layne Stovall, and Channing Stovall and a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband James Anderson Allen, her parents Cecil Martin and Opal Sizemore Bell, one sister Susie Bowling and one son in law Dwayne Asher.
Phylliss greatest love was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed being outdoors working in her flowers and spent countless evenings swinging on her porch. She will be missed by all.
The funeral service will be held 3 PM Sunday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Carl Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the James Allen Cemetery at Radar. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home.
