Robert Bowman, age 79 departed this life on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at his home. He was born on Thursday, November 23, 1944 in Manchester to Clifton and Edna Philpot Bowman. He was a heavy equipment operator.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 57 years Joyce Napier Bowman, his son: Bobby Bowman and wife Karen and his daughter: Gina Lake and husband Gary. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Tyler Lake and wife Brittany, Emily Coleman and husband Austin, Amanda Catchings and husband Omar, his great grandchild: Eve Magnolia Catchings as well as his brother: Autho Bowman and his sisters: Brenda Brown and Irene Martin as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Clifton and Edna Bowman, his granddaughter: Rachel Elizabeth Bowman, his brothers: Clinton Bowman and Virgil Bowman and his sisters: Virginia Hacker, Evelyn Banks and Pauline Turner.
Funeral Services for Robert Bowman will be conducted on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Bobby Bowman and Rev. Wayne House will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Hacker Cemetery in the Gray Fork Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday after 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
