Bill Wombles, 80, of Manchester, Ky, passed away Sunday, December 17th, at his home. Bill was born in Manchester, KY, on October 27th, 1943, a son of the late Robert and Eliza Curry Wombles.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Sibert Wombles.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Meloney Finley and husband Bryan and Sue Fox, both of Manchester; by his grandchildren: Danielle Fox, Bella Finley, and Finn Tucker Finley.
Bill is also survived by his sister, Nanny Pearl Collins of London. He also leaves behind a special nephew, Vince Wombles.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his sons, Michael Todd, William Timothy, and Marty Scott. As well as the following brothers and sisters; Logan Wombles, Alfred Wombles, Fred Wombles, Grover Wombles, Albert Ray Wombles, Sarah Price, Pauline Jarvis, Dorothy Lewis, and Lula Parks.
Services for Bill will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 19th, at Britton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Wombles Cemetery on Paw Paw.
Visitation for Bill will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, December 19th, at Britton Funeral Home.
