Clayton Sizemore, 74, of Manchester, KY, passed away Friday, December 15th, at his home. Clayton was born in Leslie County, KY on March 29, 1949, a son of the late Alpha and Cleon Sizemore.
Clayton is survived by his wife, Vernita Sizemore of Manchester; and his sons: Rodney Clay Sizemore and wife Chas of Leslie County, and Ryan Joseph Sizemore and wife Christina of Manchester.
He is also survived by his brother and sisters: Roger Dale Sizemore of Leslie County, Marie Hacker of Oneida, and Jo Dezarn of Manchester; by his grandchildren: Michael Clayton Sizemore of Harlan, Rodney Tyler Sizemore of Manchester, Madison Daisy Sizemore of Manchester, and Khloe Addison Sizemore; and his great-grandchildren: Mallory Sizemore and Braxton Sizemore, both of Harlan.
In addition to his parents, Clayton was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters: Oakley Sizemore, Oscar Sizemore, Junior Sizemore, Carl Sizemore, Geneva Feltner, and Patsy Collins.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 21st at Britton Funeral Home, with Dean Lawson and Wade England officiating. Burial will follow at the Manchester Memorial Gardens, with Christopher Gibson, Bobby Caudill, Terry Sizemore, Tyler Sizemore, Michael Sizemore, and Mike Bates serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 20th at Britton Funeral Home.
