Mrs. Sylvia “Boots” Woods, age 63 departed this life on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the AdventHealth of Manchester. She was born on Sunday, October 9, 1960 in Hamilton, Ohio to William and Melia Byrd McClure. She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband: Floyd Woods, her children: Floyd Woods, Jr. and wife Abby, Benjamin Woods and wife Courtney, Melia Woods, Victoria Lester and husband Kyle, Will Woods and Samantha Lewis as well as her grandchildren: Madison Woods, Logan Woods, Bailey Woods, Bryson Woods, Kylie Woods, Avery Lester, Charlie Woods and Abel Lester. Also surviving are her siblings: Ernie Inabnitt, Jimmy McClure, Betty McClure, Charles McClure and Carl Phillip Brown.
She is preceded in death by her parents: William and Melia McClure.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Sylvia “Boots” Woods will be conducted on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Arthur Bowling and Rev. Ken Bolin will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Woods Cemetery in the Sacker Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday, January 1, 2024 from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
