Obituary for Eva Asher of London, Kentucky

Eva Asher, 69, of London, KY, passed peacefully at home on February 3rd, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Eva was born at home in Big Creek, KY on November 10, 1954, to Addie and Marion Casey Collins. Eva was a devoted Christian, who loved God with all her heart. She was a gifted florist and owner of Eva’s Flowers. She was also a retired school bus driver and preschool teacher. She was the rock of her family, and she will be dearly missed.

Eva is survived by her husband, Wayne Asher of London, KY; and her three daughters: Kristie Lipps of London, KY, Kim Bixler (Charles Dykes) of London, KY, and Kathy Burns and husband Freddie Joe of London, KY.

She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Paige Stepp and husband Andrew, Brooke Baker and husband Dustin, Machenzie Bowling and husband John Tyler, and Mikayla Burns; her six great grandchildren; Skyleigh Davidson, Trendon Dykes, Eleanor Baker, Adeline Baker, Veronica Baker, and Cassie Bowling and her brother and sisters: Esther Thompson, Lois Gray, Farris Collins, Marvin Collins, Mark Collins, and Marion Collins. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by granddaughter, Madison Elizabeth Burns, grandson, Trevor Wayne Dykes, her nephew, Glenn Thompson, niece, Cassie Gray, brother Harry Collins, and sister Joan Holland.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 7th at Britton Funeral Home, with Jeff Lewis, Wayne House, and Verlion Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens in Manchester, KY.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday February 6th at Britton Funeral Home.
